ABOUT KAYLA TESSIER
Kayla Tessier has been a Registered Social Worker since 2014 and has been counselling in post-secondary environments since 2017. It is her aim to provide an environment that invites dialogue and collaborative exploration. Kayla enjoys the process of finding meaning together in the stories that unfold in session. As an integrative therapist, she draws on existential, feminist, humanistic, structural, anti-oppressive, and systemic approaches; folding in techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
